Wordpress administration enhancement

When I was casually surfing around the net for some Wordpress stuff I found this nice enhancement called “Wordpress Tiger Administration”. It’s a new GUI for the internal parts of your Wordpress blog that makes it look very slick :-) It is fully supported by Safari and Firefox but IE with “crippled” support for CSS2 will automatically fallback to the default GUI.

Check it out if you are using Wordpress, I think you will like it!

Contact form with image verification for RapidWeaver

Today I added a new section about webdesign to my site. As the first part in this section I also added a tutorial for how you can create a contact form like mine with RapidWeaver. People have asked me how I did that with RapidWeaver and I thought it was time to write down how I did it. You can also download a RapidWeaver project complete with code and instructions.

Finished integrating the blog, and a new look

So, I finally finished integrating my Wordpress blog. I have also enabled comments. Not that i’m expecting anyone to comment my drivel :-) but I thought I would try and see if it gets filled with spam.

I also took the time to finish the new theme for my website. It was something I started doing already during the spring but I haven’t had time or insperation to finish it. But now it is finished enough to put online. Although there is always a need for a little finepolishing :-)

I have now fixed my RSS-feed so that it is available in both Swedish and English again.

Yet another update to the blog

Time again for another update of my blog. But this time it is a slightly bigger change under the hood. I have changed from using RapidWeavers blog to Wordpress. But I have embedded it inside my site design so that everything will appear as the old blog. The reason behind the change was not because there was anything wrong with the blog in RapidWeaver. I just wanted to have the possibility to update my blog remotely. Another benefit with the switch is that it has become easier to write in dual language in the blog.

Everything is not finished yet, but it is good enough to start using it. There are some minor issues with the Swedish translation of Wordpress that needs to be fixed. And the link to the RSS-feed is currently only available in Swedish.
