This is just a post informing you about the current delay in responding to support issues.

For a while now I have not been able to
answer support requests as quick as I want. And this situation will remain for several more weeks.

The reason for this is that me and my family are moving to a new house which we have been building for a while. Between my dayjob and finishing this house there is not much time left for support unfortunately. But I do my best to prioritize the requests by putting purchase questions on top of the queue followed by urgent setup requests The other requests will be handled when time permits and that is mostly time consuming and hard to trackdown problems.

But rest assured that all these requests will be handled, at the very latest when we have finished moving which is in June. Until then I hope you can oversee that there are some delays for your requests.

If you have urgent issues getting one of my plugins to behave properly please try and ask in Realmac Software’s excellent support forum.

I will try to handle license issues during my vacation but the response time may be a little longer.

2008
This has been a very exiting year with lots of exiting stuff. The biggest thing for me and my fiancé was the birth of our first son in May. It took our lives into a whole new dimension, and a good one too :)

The iPhone finally made it to Sweden officially when iPhone 3G was released. But I and a lot of other people had already aquired 1st gen iPhone’s and since then I cannot see myself going back to a regular cellphone.

We also saw the next generation of RapidWeaver when v4.0 was released. And it’s nice to see good applications getting even better. All my plugins works fine with both the “old” v3.6.x and the “new” v4.x. And in 2009 I hope to start the transit for some of the plugins over to the new API that was introduced in v4.x so that they can take advantage of the goodies there.

But Realmac Software had more up their sleeve. LittleSnapper v1.0 saw the light in the beginning of December. An all new image/website/screengrabber/whatelse? utility/library app that looks very promising. I haven’t had much time to play with it yet but i’m sure it will come in handy.

2009
In the beginning of 2009 I hope I can finally release the first version of WP-Blog, my latest plugin that makes it very easy to integrate a self-hosted WordPress blog in your RapidWeaver designed site. It’s been in the closing stage for a while now and the plugins as such is pretty much finished. It’s the things around it that hasn’t been wrapped up due to reasons outside my control.

That’s it. Now i’m off to celebrate Christmas with our son’s grandparents who live too far away to see him every week.

We have been on route to having our first child this May and almost three weeks ago I got the call I was waiting for at work. So we headed in to the hospital and our son, Oliver, was born on May 9 at 23:19 CET.

We hit some “roadbumps” shortly after the birth so we had to stay in hospital for a while longer than enticipated. But we are at home now and both mother and son are alright.

Everything boils down to a conflict between Telia and Cogent. Two companies arguing about a business agreement and we are now suffering from this… I’m not blaming one of them for this as it takes two to tango but searching at Google for Cogent doesn’t bring up a nice picture.
