Summer vacation

It’s time for the summer holiday starting today during the next two weeks. This means that I will not be able to handle support issues as quckly as I normally do.

If you have urgent issues getting one of my plugins to behave properly please try and ask in Realmac Software’s excellent support forum.

I will try to handle license issues during my vacation but the response time may be a little longer.

Away on vacation for a week

I will be away for short one week holiday starting tomorrow. During this period I will most likely not be able to handle any support or license issues since i’m running this by myself. If you have urgent issues getting one of my plugins to behave properly please try and ask in Realmac Software’s excellent support forum. There are many knowledgable gurus there that might be able to help you out until i’m back. For license issues I hope you can wait until the first weekend in May when i’m back again. Until then I won’t be able to do anything.

Away on businesstrip

I will be away for a quick 3 day business trip starting tomorrow 8/2. If I can get access to WiFi during the trip I will be able to handle limited support during these days (and I will prioritize license problems). If I can’t find a WiFi spot all support issues will have to wait until I’m back in the middle of the week.

Christmas vacation & the end of 2008

It’s the time of the year that we all long for every year, Christmas & New Year. I will be away for the rest of the year and will not be able to repond to support enquieries on a regular basis. So if you have sent me an email you might not receive a response until the beginning of 2009.

And now over to…

2008
This has been a very exiting year with lots of exiting stuff. The biggest thing for me and my fiancé was the birth of our first son in May. It took our lives into a whole new dimension, and a good one too :)

The iPhone finally made it to Sweden officially when iPhone 3G was released. But I and a lot of other people had already aquired 1st gen iPhone’s and since then I cannot see myself going back to a regular cellphone.

We also saw the next generation of RapidWeaver when v4.0 was released. And it’s nice to see good applications getting even better. All my plugins works fine with both the “old” v3.6.x and the “new” v4.x. And in 2009 I hope to start the transit for some of the plugins over to the new API that was introduced in v4.x so that they can take advantage of the goodies there.

But Realmac Software had more up their sleeve. LittleSnapper v1.0 saw the light in the beginning of December. An all new image/website/screengrabber/whatelse? utility/library app that looks very promising. I haven’t had much time to play with it yet but i’m sure it will come in handy.

2009
In the beginning of 2009 I hope I can finally release the first version of WP-Blog, my latest plugin that makes it very easy to integrate a self-hosted WordPress blog in your RapidWeaver designed site. It’s been in the closing stage for a while now and the plugins as such is pretty much finished. It’s the things around it that hasn’t been wrapped up due to reasons outside my control.

That’s it. Now i’m off to celebrate Christmas with our son’s grandparents who live too far away to see him every week.

Away on business trip…

I’m going to be away on a business trip most of September and October and for obvious reason I will not be able to respond so quickly to any questions you send by mail etc. But I will try to scan my mailbox daily. If you haven’t recieved any answer within a week feel free to remind me :)
