My Wordpress tutorial and Wordpress 2.3
Today I took some time and made a test with Wordpress 2.3 and my RapidWeaver tutorial that integrates your blog with RapidWeaver. The good news is that you don’t need to make any changes at all to use my tutorial :)
The bad news is that Wordpress 2.3 is broken :(
and although the patch was produced 3 weeks ago, and is supposed to be included in 2.3.1 it still hasn’t been fixed in public…
The contact form again…
But this time i’m keeping it short. I made a small improvement on the contact form tutorial that should make it easier to implement.
If you were having problems with the last update you should try the updated version :)

Today you can find a new version of the contactform image verification tutorial. If you ever wanted to secure your contact form with CAPTCHA but found the tutorial too difficult to follow then you should really, really look at the new one. It works the same as the old one but in the new version you do not have to upload anything to the webserver, go through the hazzle of changing permissions on some folder etc. Just copy the page from my tutorial project, change a few variables and off you go :)
All of this was made possible thanks to NeoProgrammers.com who recently made a big update to their script. This script is free to use, licensed under LGPL.
Wordpress tutorial updated
A few persons have said that they are having problems validating their RSS feeds after following my instructions for integrating Wordpress in RapidWeaver. Since I haven’t been able to get any further information about this and the fact that I haven’t been seeing this problem I haven’t been able to do anything about it. But yesterday I was able to identify the problem, thanks to a helpful user, and fix my instruction :)
Problem with the contact form tutorial
This is just a short heads-up that i’m aware of a new problem with my contact form tutorial. Apparently NeoProgrammers the creators of the CAPTCHA script I used has recently uploaded a new version that isn’t working exactly as the old version :( If you are experiencing problems following my tutorial either wait until next week when I hopefully have had time to rewrite my tutorial, or contact me and i’ll send you the old version of the script.
