Den har en Atmel<\/a> AT91SAM7S128 (ARM-7TDMI 32-bit CPU) med 128KB flash och 32KB RAM. Mp3-dekodern \u00e4r en VS1033 fr\u00e5n VLSI<\/a> som st\u00f6djer MP3, WMA, AAC & WAV. Den har en f\u00e4rgdisplay som \u00e4r 1.6″ kapabel att visa 131×131 pixlar och 4096 f\u00e4rger. Flashminnet \u00e4r ett T-Flash (Micro-SD) kort vilket betyder att du f\u00f6r n\u00e4rvarande kan ha upp till 2GB minne. L\u00e5tar kommer att kunna f\u00f6ras \u00f6ver via USB2 (Full speed ~12 MB\/sec) men det \u00e4r \u00e4nnu inte implementerat. Batteriet \u00e4r et 650 mAh Li-Ion Polymer som b\u00f6r ge ~8 timmars speltid och laddas via USB-kabeln. Den finns i 5 f\u00e4rger av anodiserad aluminium, du kan se bilder p\u00e5 dom h\u00e4r<\/a>.<\/p>\n

[lang_en]Yesterday I received my yamppod<\/a>, the latest creation by Jesper Hansen<\/a>. It’s a small fully customizable mp3-player with flash storage that he has developed. It has an Atmel<\/a> AT91SAM7S128 (ARM-7TDMI 32-bit CPU) with 128KB flash memory and 32KB RAM. The mp3 decoder is a VS1033 decoder from VLSI<\/a> which supports MP3, WMA, AAC & WAV. The display is a 1.6″ Color LCD capable of 131*131 pixels and 4096 colors. The flash memory is a T-Flash (Micro-SD) card which means that you can currently have up to 2GB storage. Songs will be possible to transfer via USB2 (Full speed ~12MB\/sec) but that is not yet implemented. The battery is a 650 mAh Li-Ion polymer cell that should give you ~8 hours playtime and is charged through the USB cable. It’s available in 5 different colors of anodized aluminum, you can see pictures of the housings here<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Oh, did I mention that the software is open-source<\/a>? \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n
