WP-Blog v1.0.2
2009-03-01 22:25 Filed in: Plugins RapidWeaver
It’s time for WP-Blog v1.0.2 to hit the street. It should have been out a couple of days ago but the server where my site is hosted has been a bit down lately.
This release is mainly a bugfix release but there is one new feature added that some of you have been asking for.
I have added support for excerpts in WP-Blog. If you enable this only the excerpt, or a short piece of the post, is show in the blog. If you enable excerpts you can also configure it to only display it for posts that actually have an excerpt.
To see what is new in v1.0.2 check out the changelog.
This is a free update and requires RapidWeaver >= 3.5 and OS X >= 10.4 (Works with RapidWeaver 4).

Nilrog,
Thank you so much! Though I’ve been using this since it came out, it still hasn’t lost it’s ”new” smell. I’ve been able to tweak my blog so it’s exactly how I want it – something I just couldn’t do without WordPress.
Love it!
Thank you for this site, such as multi information.I! Thank you!,
Hi! The post is really interesting! Ive read your blog and can say its a good job.thanks,
Oh hell yeah no graphical smilies around here.,
thank you dear friend,
what gives you that idea?,
I love the WP-Blog plugin, and I got it working despite a nasty bug in both WP-Blog v1.0.2 AND RapidWeaver 4.2.3. See my full report at: http://www.realmacsoftware.com/forums/index.php/forums/viewthread/21212/
It would be great NOT to be forced to make this setting: ”File Links Are: Relative to Website Address”.
Best regards
Hi Brett,
Thanks for the great review/report. I’ve answered you in the forum so I won’t duplicate anything here.
As for the ”Relative to Website Address” setting you may be able to get around that if you can sacrifice ”pretty permalinks” and use the default permalinks. Otherwise that setting is, unfortunately, required…
