Två veckor senare…
[lang_en]It has now been two weeks since I released @stash v1.1. At the same time I also changed the look on my website both by using a new theme and restructuring the layout and content of my site. Most of the restructuring should be smooth as I have tried to redirect all old url’s to the new ones. Looking back at this week I have learned a few things, especially about browser compatibility. But mostly everything has gone smoothly so far.
Regarding @stash there were a few minor issues with the new license generator for @stash that I deployed which creates the licensefile automatically when the customer has completed the transaction with PayPal during the first day. But since that was fixed it has been running smoothly as far as I know.
The new website has also experienced a few quirks, and I want to thank those who have contacted me about the problems. Some things I can ”blame” on the fact that all the redesign was done without having access to the net when I was working on the design so I had to do most of the coding ”blindly”. But some issues has been with different behaviour between browsers, OmniWeb and Opera beeing the ones that had some problems. There are still a few things missing from the site but I will add that bit by bit during the next week(s).[/lang_en]
[lang_sv]Det har nu gått två veckor sedan jag släppte @stash v1.1. Samtidigt passade jag på att ändra designen på min hemsida, både genom att byta tema och ändra strukturen på hemsidan. Det mesta av ändringarna borde vara transparenta för användarna då jag har försökt att göra redirect på dom gamla länkarna till dom nya platserna.
När det gäller @stash så hade jag några mindre problem med den nya licensgeneringen som jag hade satt upp för att generera en licensfil så fort PayPal bekräftat transaktionen. Efter att jag har fixat dessa problem så har allt flutit på bra så vitt jag kan se.
Den nya hemsidan har också haft sin beskärda del av små problem, och jag vill tacka alla dom som har påpekat problemen. En del av problemen kan jag ”skylla på” att jag har gjort det mesta av jobbet utan att ha kontakt med nätet. Men en del problem har berott på att vissa webläsare beter sig lite olika, OmniWeb och Opera är dom webläsare som har haft lite problem. Det är fortfarande en del saker som saknas från hemsidan men jag kommer att försöka fixa det bit för bit under dom närmsta veckorna.[/lang_sv]
