Yet another year

2007 is coming to it’s end and it has been a spectacular and interesting year and I know 2008 will be even more spectacular :)

In the yampp world we saw Jespers new yamppod. A small interresting mp3player that you can program yourself. Unfortunately I haven’t had time to play alot with it but others have and they are making good progress.

In the world of RapidWeaver there has been even more going on. We have seen RapidWeaver 3.6 this year which was a huge step up compared to version 3.5. And they have been working hard to make it more robust, something that was/is a bit of a problem in 3.5. I have released two plugins for RapidWeaver, High-Light and @stash which were originally designed to add some functionality I was missing in RapidWeaver but later released to the public. Initially both were released as freeware but with the release of @stash v1.1 I switched to a commercial license for @stash. The respons for both of these plugins have been great, especially since both of them targets a very narrow market compared to other page-style plugins that appeals to more users.

For 2008 I have a lot in my backpack. @stash will see a “smart” improvment that will enhance the @stash((item)) import tag even further. High-Light may see some small configuration improvments. And I will also relase something new :)

RapidWeaver will show up in version 4.0, for Leopard only, and it will be yet another huge step forward for the webdesign application we all like. Hopefully the yamppod hardware development will pick up it’s pace as it seems like it has halted. And for me personally 2008 will be the best year ever if all goes well :)

That was a little rambling of times past and times to come. I will not make any more posts this year since I will be going up north for christmas. So I want to wish you all a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

PS: Don’t forget to take advantage of the christmas deal on @stash if you have been thinking of buying it. DS.
