WP-Blog v1.0RC12(.1)
A new version of WP-Blog is available again. If you are confused about the version number, don’t worry 🙂
The reason I am releasing version 1.0RC12.1 instead of just version 1.0RC12 is that v1.0RC12 was seeded to a selected group to test the Sparkle implementation. And due to other reasons it was later never seeded to the public so I decided to add a few more changes and release it as v1.0RC12.1 instead of skipping directly to v1.0RC13. Sounds crystal clear doesn’t it 😉

WP-Blog v1.0RC8
Unfortunately one of the changes I made in RC7 broke the WordPress header path calculation 🙁 Until I can fix the original (minor) problem I have reverted that change so you can continue to use WP-Blog. The regression affected new pages where you are trying to set the WordPress header path. If you are just re-publishing existing pages it didn’t affect you.
To redeem this I have also extended the lifespan of this beta with 2 more weeks so you can continue using this plugin for free until the mid of November.
If you have been testing WP-Blog I suggest that you grab a copy of this version. If you haven’t tested it yet now is a good time to start 🙂
What is changed:
- Reverted: The RW page was sometimes marked as changed even if nothing was changed in the settings.
- Minor changes to the UI.

WP-Blog v1.0RC7
There is a new version of WP-Blog available for download. It’s actually two versions since the previous one was only announced in the RMS forum and in an update to the previous blog post.
If you have been testing WP-Blog I suggest that you grab a copy of this version since it fixes a number of small issues in the plugin. If you haven’t tested it yet now is a good time to start 🙂
What is fixed:
- The WordPress header path was sometimes set to an erroneous value.
- The RW page was sometimes marked as changed even if nothing was changed in the settings.
- Changing the archive limit manually cause an exception when previewing/exporting.
- Minor changes to the UI.

WP-Blog…the WordPress plugin…
Time to say hello to the first public release of “WP-Blog” the RapidWeaver plugin incarnation of my WordPress tutorial for RapidWeaver.
This plugin will make it easy to add a WordPress blog in your RapidWeaver designed site. Just add a WP-Blog page, configure the WordPress location in the page, configure WordPress for split blog/WordPress URL, publish and you are done. There is no need to make any adjustments or tweaks to the theme, as long as you are using a RapidWeaver theme that has been designed for v3.6 or newer. When you are done no one will notice that the blog on your site is not the built-in blog in RapidWeaver.

WordPress + iPhone
[lang_en]Today I installed an amazing app on my iPhone, WordPress for iPhone. It’s a free app that allows you to post to any WordPress blog, self-hosted or on WordPress.com. It has support for tags, categories, photos etc. and allows you to store local drafts and preview within the app itself. And did I mention that it is free? 🙂 Now I just have to go back into my lab for a while…
PS: This was posted using this app on the road. DS.[/lang_en]

[lang_en]Today I took some time and made a test with WordPress 2.3 and my RapidWeaver tutorial that integrates your blog with RapidWeaver. The good news is that you don’t need to make any changes at all to use my tutorial 🙂
The bad news is that WordPress 2.3 is broken 🙁
and although the patch was produced 3 weeks ago, and is supposed to be included in 2.3.1 it still hasn’t been fixed in public…[/lang_en]

WordPress-instruktionen uppdaterad
[lang_en]A few persons have said that they are having problems validating their RSS feeds after following my instructions for integrating WordPress in RapidWeaver. Since I haven’t been able to get any further information about this and the fact that I haven’t been seeing this problem I haven’t been able to do anything about it. But yesterday I was able to identify the problem, thanks to a helpful user, and fix my instruction :)[/lang_en]
